To estimate the cost of Hot Dip Galvanizing service it is necessary to consider the following elements:

• Zinc adhesion: the thickness of the material influences the amount of the Hot Dip Galvanizing costs in an important way: the greater the thickness of the steel that must be dipped is, the lower the percentage of zinc applied will be. On September 23rd, the day of the 50th anniversary of the Bordignon Group, we experienced great emotions.
Today, after 50 years, the company has almost 300 employees, logistics facilities in Veneto, Friuli, Trentino and Romania and every month 10,000 tons of steel are galvanized in the various plants.

The goal for the new year is to galvanize megastructures such as highway bridges.
Goals like these become possible thanks to the dense internal logistics network, strongly desired by the Group, and the presence of the largest galvanizing tank in Europe.

A certainty for the future is the flow of innovation and research that characterizes the Bordignon Group.

Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg, the tallest Russian building (430 m.) Business center that houses the headquarters of Gazpron, the global energy giant. The Bordignon Group zinc mills have hot-dip galvanized metal elements, which are subsequently painted with a finish similar to a car. The truss has a span of 24 meters, weighs 28 tons and is positioned at a height of 50 m.

 

The construction entered the Guinness Book of Records because the largest seamless concrete casting in the world was created for the foundations of the skyscraper.

Over 60 meters long, almost completely made of hot-dip galvanized steel, here is the Buffalo Creek Bridge.

The AGA (American Association of Zincherie) has installed a live camera on the bridge that is active 24 hours a day. The pre-existing painted steel beam bridge, built in 1928, was knocked down and a new hot-dip galvanized bridge in all its parts including the star pillars, beams (superstructure), reinforcements, guardrails and all other materials in steel, it will take its place.

In addition to overseeing the timing and delays, the AGA will film the fabrication and galvanizing of steel to tell a complete story on all stages of the construction of the galvanized steel bridge. The start of the demolition began at the end of August and the completion of the construction is scheduled for the end of December.

Last year we Hot Dip Galvanized the border barrier built between Greece and Turkey, a structure of over 2800 t in total. This was possible in our factory in Romania. The dimensions of the Zincheria SA kettle allow us the processing of elements of great lengths. The plant boasts with the largest galvanizing tank in Eastern Europe with 14 meters in length.
